Terms of Service

Last updated: June 29, 2026

These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of Smart Table, a subscription software service available at smartable.space. By creating an account, starting a trial, subscribing, or using the service, you agree to these terms.

1. Who We Serve

Smart Table is designed for restaurants, cafes, hospitality venues, and their authorized staff. The service helps venues manage QR table sessions, digital menu browsing, staff accounts, and customer service requests.

2. Accounts and Authorized Users

You are responsible for the accuracy of the account information you provide, the security of your login credentials, and all activity that occurs under your account. You may create staff accounts only for people who are authorized to work with your venue. You must promptly disable accounts that should no longer have access.

3. Trials, Subscriptions, and Billing

Smart Table may offer a limited free trial. After the trial ends, access to operational features may be restricted unless you start a paid subscription. Paid plans renew automatically according to the billing period selected at checkout unless cancelled before the renewal date.

Payments are processed by Paddle or another payment provider shown at checkout. We do not store full card numbers. Taxes, currency conversion, and payment method rules may be handled by the payment provider. Prices and plan features are shown before purchase and may be updated for future billing periods with reasonable notice.

4. Cancellation

You may cancel a subscription from the billing area of your owner dashboard or by contacting support at support@smartable.space. Cancellation stops future renewals. Your access may continue until the end of the paid billing period unless otherwise required by law or stated at checkout.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to misuse Smart Table. This includes attempting to bypass security controls, accessing another venue's data, uploading unlawful or harmful content, interfering with service availability, reverse engineering the service except where legally permitted, or using the service for fraudulent, abusive, or illegal activity.

6. Venue and Customer Data

You retain ownership of the restaurant, menu, staff, table, request, review, and related business data you submit to Smart Table. You grant us the limited rights needed to host, process, secure, display, back up, and support that data for the purpose of providing the service.

You are responsible for the content you add to Smart Table, including product names, prices, images, and staff information. You must have the rights and permissions needed to use that content.

7. Service Availability and Changes

We aim to provide a reliable service, but we do not guarantee that Smart Table will be uninterrupted, error-free, or available at all times. We may update, improve, suspend, or discontinue parts of the service when needed for security, maintenance, legal compliance, or product development.

8. Third-Party Services

Smart Table may rely on third-party services for payments, hosting, databases, storage, email, analytics, security, and similar infrastructure. Your use of those services may also be subject to their terms and policies when you interact with them directly.

9. Intellectual Property

Smart Table, including its software, design, branding, workflows, and documentation, is owned by us or our licensors. These terms do not transfer any ownership rights to you. You receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the service while your account is active and in compliance with these terms.

10. Suspension and Termination

We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these terms, fail to pay required fees, create security or legal risk, or use the service in a way that harms Smart Table, other customers, or third parties. You may stop using the service at any time.

11. Disclaimers

Smart Table is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and uninterrupted availability.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Smart Table will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, punitive, or lost-profit damages. Our total liability for claims related to the service will not exceed the amount you paid for Smart Table during the three months before the event giving rise to the claim.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. If changes are material, we will take reasonable steps to notify account owners. Continued use of Smart Table after an update means you accept the revised terms.
